John has many years of experience as a Commercial Diver, Supervisor and Operations Manager. His varied industry experience in these capacities provides him with a unique ability to solve complex operational issues. He is knowledgeable in all building and construction materials as well as design and fabrication methods. In 2005, John was promoted to Operations Manager of Portadam's New Jersey Headquarters. In this role, John is responsible for overseeing the fabrication of all component parts, inventory management, maintenance and assuring each of the satellite offices maintain sufficient equipment. John is also instrumental in developing the organizations standard operating procedures for use at both its headquarters and satellite office locations. John joined Portadam in 1994 as a Diver and Crew Supervisor where he assembled the Portadam system and mentored younger divers. By 1998, John was promoted to Shop Supervisor where he used his prior diving experience to revamp the shop procedures. These changes provided Portadam divers and its customers with outstanding customer service. John currently lives in New Jersey with his lovely wife Lynn and their two daughters. When not working at Portadam, John enjoys spending time with his girls as well as art related projects such painting and sculpting.
