Nelson's thirteen years of operational experience with Portadam provides him with the expertise required to lead the expansion of its Southeast installation, manufacturing, repair and warehouse facility. Over his career with Portadam, Nelson gained valuable experience in producing and repairing Portadam's durable linear material, constructing its steadfast frames and related component parts and installing and removing its time-proven cofferdam system. Additionally, his experience allows him to survey potential jobsites to determine the most cost effective solution for the customer's water diversion or retention needs. As the Southeast Operations Manager, Nelson is responsible for every aspect of Portadam's operating activities across Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi. This includes the management of our in-house dive teams, managing all manufacturing and warehouse activities and consulting with Portadam's potential customers. His experience also allows him to mentor our dive teams. Nelson began his career with Portadam during its start-up period which allowed him to play a key role in the development of its business. This provided Nelson with the opportunity to see every aspect of the business during its initial growth stage. This experience also allows him to satisfy even the most intricate and demanding water diversion or retention project. Nelson's currently using this knowledge to help in the expansion of Portadam's Southeast business. Nelson recently moved from New Jersey to Georgia along with his wife and their new baby daughter. When Nelson isn't traveling for Portadam he enjoys spending time with his family and working on house projects.
