Portadam Announces Addition of Southwest Operations Manager
Dan Deavers promoted to support Southwest region.
June 8, 2005 - Portadam of Williamstown, New Jersey announced the promotion of Dan Deavers as Southwest Operations Manager. In this newly created position, Mr. Deavers is responsible for the operations of Portadam's Southwest satellite facility, located in Garland, Texas. This facility will support rental sales and promotion of Portadam's environmentally friendly portable membrane cofferdam system throughout Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and Kansas. Mr. Deavers will work with Mr. Jim Kirby, Portadam's Southwest Sales Manager and he will report to Bob Gatta, Portadam's Chief Executive Officer. In announcing the Southeast Operations Manager addition, Mr. Gatta stated, "Dan's breadth of experience which includes the manufacture of Portadam's fabric membrane as well as fabric repair, construction of frames, installation and removal of systems and surveying potential job sites provides Portadam a tremendous advantage in promoting our business in this territory. Dan can focus on expanding this region by applying the experience and success he's developed in installing and removing Portadam's portable cofferdam system on a Nationwide level." Mr. Deavers stated, "The ability for Portadam to focus on a specific region will enable us to significantly increase our presence in the Southeast. Taking a regional approach allows Portadam to respond quickly with free site visits, installation and removal crews and delivery of the system to each job site." Mr. Deavers began his career with Portadam in its New Jersey manufacturing facility performing fabric repair, welding frames and managing the Company's assets. During this time, Mr. Deavers was promoted to a member of a Dive team to perform the installation and removal of Portadam's unique cofferdam system. For the last five years, Mr. Deavers was a supervisor of multiple Dive teams working on a national level.
